Precision Machining — BCS is a precision machining group focused solely upon the manufacture of Class I and Class II medical devices. With a reputation for exacting quality and on-time delivery, we possess a comprehensive understanding of the quality, engineering, and production requirements relative to medical devices.

Design & Development — We offer value-added engineering services for continuous design review and consultation throughout the instrument/device development lifecycle. We maintain an advanced information technology environment, including a state of the art CAD/CAM programming system capable of 2-D/3-D contouring, 3-D surfacing and solid modeling. We support an open approach to interface with your designs using software that supports IGES, DXF and PDES/STEP standards for MasterCAM, Solid Works, Pro-E and Uni-graphics systems.

Prototypes & Production — State of the art, high speed CNC horizontal and vertical machining centers, EDM Wire, CNC turning and laser engraving services are supported by in-house operations of TIG welding, hand finishing and passivation, enabling our success with multi-component and micro-instrument and implant assemblies. Our mechanics consistently hold tolerances to .0001" on materials including aluminum, cobalt chrome, stainless steels, titanium and plastics.

Product Line — The BCS engineering staff has designed and developed a unique "Quick Chuck System" consisting of a chuck, cannulated and non cannulated drills, taps, drill guide tubes, punches and trocar/bayonet point pins. Our design, adopted for use around the world, offers surgeons critical timesavings and ease of use.

Quality — An FDA-registered facility, BCS meets or exceeds requirements set forth by ISO 9002. Our goal is full compliance to ISO 9001:2000. Our protocol ensures quality involvement from all areas and disciplines, from contract review through final shipment. Our quality program is documented for process and quality planning, materials acquisition and control, special process requirements, first article acceptance, production and assembly operations, through to final acceptance and shipping.
