Vulcanium Metals Incorporated, global distributor of titanium mill products, is proud to announce the addition of James Ellis as its Director of Operations. Jim has been in the metals business all of his life. His family owned Ellis Steel in Detroit and he spent much of his youth around the business, driving trucks and running equipment.

During his distinctive professional life, Jim has worked in outside sales, inside sales and in operations, and has more than 20 years of metals distribution experience. Prior to Vulcanium, he was plant and operations manager of the largest flagship operations in two of the nation’s leading metal service center organizations.

Growing up in the Detroit area, Jim graduated with a B.A. in Communications and Business from Western Michigan University, and an M.B.A. from Wayne State University. He is a senior member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, the scholastic honor society, and a past Rotary Club President.
