Stealth Medical Technologies continues
to grow in 2004, providing a greater array of orthopaedic components to
a larger customer base. To accommodate this growth, we have added additional
equipment and increased manufacturing and administrative floor space.
Several key personnel changes have also been made to continuously improve
our position as a world leader in the orthopaedic implant industry.
- Thomas Karimpanal has joined Stealth
as Quality Control Manager and will oversee QC and NDT Departments.
Thomas has a Masters in Industrial Technology from Eastern Michigan
University and most recently worked for General Electric.
- Amanda Lindsay has accepted the position
of Manufacturing Engineer and is focusing on process improvement. Amanda
graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Mechanical
Engineering.
- Steve O'Neil has joined our Engineering
Department as a CAD-CAM Specialist. Steve has a degree in Mechanical
Engineering from Wayne State University and brings with him a long history
of engineering design and application support.
- Kathleen Smith is our new Cost Accountant
and has extensive experience in finance in manufacturing environments.
- Ken Horton has been appointed Shipping
/ Logistics Manager. Ken was formerly Master Production Scheduler.
- Andy Judge has accepted the position
of Production Scheduler. Andy has been with Stealth 2 years, previously
working in the NDT and Quality Assurance Departments.
- Larry Murphy has been promoted to the
position of Supervisor in the Quality Control Department where he will
oversee Final Audit operations. Larry has been with Stealth several
years, also working in NDT and Quality Assurance.
Stealth would also like to congratulate
the following employees who were recently awarded the Certified Quality
Technician certification by the American Society of Quality: Scott Becker,
Shelli Clem, and Bob Schense.
