Specialized Medical Devices expands CNC milling capabilities

Specialized Medical Devices (“SMD”) recently expanded its CNC milling department by adding a Haas Super VF 3 5-Axis vertical milling center and a Haas Super VF 2 4-Axis vertical milling center. The additional VMCs compliment SMD’s existing 5-Axis and 4-Axis milling capabilities and will allow SMD to keep pace with the growing demand for intricately milled titanium, stainless steel and peek medical implants and components.
