FMI Medical Instruments, Inc. announces the official opening of its new 57,000 square foot medical device manufacturing facility, and achievement of ISO 13485:2003 registration for the manufacture of orthopedic instruments and implants.  FMI President Chad Falciani stated: “ISO 13485 registration, along with the substantial investment we’ve made in new plant and equipment, confirms our deep commitment to meeting the needs of our orthopedic customers.”

FMI Medical Instruments was founded in 2000 and has quickly grown to become a leading manufacturer of orthopedic instruments and implants.  FMI recently moved into its new 57,000 square foot medical device manufacturing facility in Madison, Alabama.  The new facility provides comprehensive in-house capabilities in Swiss turning, CNC turning, Milling, Wire EDM, Sinker EDM, Precision Grinding, Metal Finishing, Assembly and Packaging.  The facility also houses a dedicated prototype cell.  Information about FMI Medical Instruments is available at www.fmi-medical.com.
