CHIEF CHEMIST NAMED FOR METAL FINISHING COMPANY

Wayne E. Roberts has joined The Electrolizing Corporation of OHIO as its chief chemist. The metal finishing company specializes in advanced coatings for medical and other high-tech products. As chief chemist, Mr. Roberts will lead the company's ongoing research and development efforts, which have resulted in a number of trademarked processes.

Mr. Roberts has worked in the metal finishing industry for over 35 years. He began his career at Teledyne Metal Finishers and most recently was plant manager at
Pavco, Inc. He has extensive experience in both the development of plating processes and environmental compliance and safety. His initial focus at Electrolizing is the
expansion and upgrading of the company s R&D lab, where new and refined processes are developed and tested. In addition, Mr. Roberts will work to improve plate bath chemistries and recycling systems for greater efficiency and improved performance.

Bill Loucks, general manager at Electrolizing, said that the addition of Mr. Roberts to the staff will enhance operations and customer service. Wayne's expertise will be a real benefit to us because he has a proven track record of finding new and better ways to solve problems, he said. The complex chemistries involved in advanced metal finishing can sometimes pose difficult challenges. Wayne has the experience we were looking for, because we re constantly working to develop and refine coatings that perform better than anyone else's.

Founded in 1948, The Electrolizing Corporation of OHIO specializes in metal finishing for the medical device, aerospace, data and telecommunications, automotive
and commercial industries. Proprietary processes, such as MEDCOAT 2000TM, offer characteristics that significantly enhance the performance of machined parts and
components. The company is known for its development of improved processes for current and emerging industry needs.

NEW QUALITY MANAGER AIMS TO PLEASE

The Electrolizing Corporation of OHIO announces the selection of Mark Stover to serve as the metal finishing company's new quality manager. With over 17 years of experience in the plating industry, Mr. Stover adds his expertise to Electrolizing s quality management systems and processes.

A native of Canada, Mr. Stover holds a diploma in chemical engineering technology from the St. Clair College of Applied Arts Technology in Windsor, Ontario. He began his career in metal finishing as a laboratory technician at KEW Plate in Windsor. In 1988 he took a position with the Canadian Electrocoating Division of the NARMCO Group of Companies. For the past four years he has worked at the Group's Prince Plating Division in Cleveland, where he was plant manager.

Mark's broad experience in all aspects of metal finishing make him the perfect choice for this job, said Bill Loucks, general manager at Electrolizing. We were looking for someone with a solid understanding of processes, customer service and industry quality standards. Now we're anxious to ramp up our quality management procedures for even greater efficiency and product excellence.

Mr. Stover has plans to refine the information path from the customer to the production floor and take a more preventive approach to solving quality issues. He is currently at work overseeing the ISO audit to maintain Electrolizing s registration to ISO 9001:2000.

Electrolizing isn't just another metal finisher, he said. We offer advanced and proprietary processes for high-tech products that demand precision. So, we've got to
be very serious about customer satisfaction and doing things right. I'm really looking forward to being a big part of that.

The Electrolizing Corporation of OHIO was established in 1948. Since that time, the company has continued to keep pace with the changing needs of its customers.
Electrolizing today is known for its revolutionary medical finishes, its proprietary commercial processes, and its continuous development of new and improved methods.
